After looking into Hide.me’s logging practices, we can confirm that the company only records the email address you used to create an account (which is encrypted on safe servers) and the quantity of data you use each month.
Additionally, it keeps a “non-persistent log of connection data” when establishing a connection with a Hide.me server. This indicates that an internal IP address and a randomly generated username are used.
